Agnes Lehuen

- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Professor Lehuen’s team is interested in the role of immune cells in the development and the prevention of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Her research is focused on innate-like T cells such as NKT and MAIT cells. Her group showed that NKT cells are potent regulatory cells preventing the development of type 1 diabetes, more particularly in infectious context. More recently her laboratory is investigating in patients and mouse models the role of these innate-like T cells in obesity and diabetes.
