Adam Uldrich
University of Melbourne, VIC, Australia
Doctor Adam Uldrich completed his PhD in 2005 at Monash University, Australia, with a focus on T cell development. After being awarded an early career Doherty Fellowship from the NHMRC, Adam performed post-doctoral studies at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia, examining the role of unconventional T cells in tumor immune surveillance. Adam then joined the Dept of Microbiology and Immunology at The University of Melbourne in 2010, and working as an ARC Future Fellow (2015-2018), established a research programme with a focus on gamma-delta T cell biology. His research interests include understanding the molecular mechanisms that underpin gamma-delta T cell-mediated immunity. Adam holds an honorary appointment at the VCCC where he will explore how gamma-delta T cells can be harnessed to improve therapeutic outcomes in diseased states including cancer.
