Oral Presentations

Preparing your presentation

As a helpful guide, we recommend that your presentation should comprise of one slide per minute or less. Please note that your Q&A time will be reduced if your presentation fills your entire allocated time slot, we request presenters please be mindful of their time. The program is very tight, and in fairness to all presenters, we will be asking session chairs to ensure that their speakers strictly adhere to time limits.

You will be able to view presenters mode on the provided laptop while presenting.  A podium, microphone and laptop will be provided and on-hand in each session room.

Uploading your presentation

The onsite AV team at OHSU have requested that presentations be uploaded ahead of time. Please go to the website WeTransfer to upload your presentation and send to Aileen Lozie at aileen.l@asnevents.net.au on or before September 1, 2025.

You DO NOT need to create an account to use this service and we use this website on a regular basis for the collection of presentations.

If you are unable to upload your presentation ahead of time, please bring your presentation, prepared at 16:9 resolution to maximize the display capabilities at the venue and avoid distortions, with you on a USB or thumb drive. Please see an AV technician at the back of the Auditorium to have your presentation loaded.  We recommend doing this during breaks prior to your session so as not to disturb or disrupt the presentations taking place in the Auditorium during scheduled session times.

If you are planning to show video(s), they must be embedded within your presentation. Note as all presentations will be loaded to a centralized PC computer in the presentation room, installed with MS Office software we recommend preparing your slides in Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF your slide deck in advance.
